Author and journalist Jason Okundaye's new book features interviews with a community of Black gay men who lived in the London district of Brixton across the later decades of the 20th century. From disagreements about politics and the best way to fight discrimination, to intimate details of sexual relationships, house parties and nightlife, their stories offer revealing insights into the experiences of being Black and gay in postwar Britain. Matt Elton caught up with Jason to find out more.
